Weymouth Access Center

Our Weymouth Access Center offers bright and spacious group rooms including Computer Lab, Fitness Center, Training Kitchen, Communication Room, Art Studio, and Multi-Sensory Room where members are encouraged to realize their personal vision through a variety of activities.

In our Fitness Center, members participate in individualized and group fitness activities utilizing various exercise equipment and group activities such as Drum Fit, Exercise Classes, Zumba, Yoga, Bowling and Walking Groups.

Our new Art Studio is open for all to express themselves, build imagination,  creativity and self-esteem, work on critical reasoning and fine motor skills through multimedia projects, including but not limited to, watercolors and acrylics, pottery, soap making, jewelry making, sewing, seasonal décor and music.

In our sun-drenched Training Kitchen, our members learn about nutrition, shopping, cooking and daily living skills.

The Computer Lab and Technology Center is home to our Semi-annual Newsletter, The Weymouth Word, where members can create and capture through words and photos the many highlights of our program. Voice output communication devices, iPads, Joy Players and books on tape are available to be used throughout the program.

The Communication Room is where our members enhance expressive and receptive communication skills, both verbal & non-verbal, build problem solving abilities, learn to manage emotions and learn social skills with their peers through games, projects, role play, discussions, and technology.

Community Partnerships include Meals on Wheels, Marshfield Animal Shelter, Little Dresses for Africa, Local Food Pantry & Toys for Tots.

The Weymouth Access Center also Hosts dances throughout the year to raise money for great causes such as Special Olympics.

The Weymouth Access Center is open Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 am to 2:30 pm although services can be arranged outside of those hours if appropriate and available.
